ABOUT ME
MY STORYLauren Briggs is a visual storyteller with a love for children’s picture books. She is passionate about literacy, Indigenous education and the environment. With a degree in Visual Communications from UTS, Lauren specialises in picture book making, illustration and graphic design.
Lauren uses children’s picture books as a vehicle to explore and share ideas about important social issues.
Her two picture books: Stories for Simon (written by Lisa Miranda Sarzin) and Little Pago are calls to action with the hope of inspiring our next generation.
Lauren lives in Sydney with her husband, four children, two dogs and a lovely old cat.
